At Picadero Ruben Correa you can enjoy authentic horse riding routes in our beautiful Extremaduran landscapes, specifically in Alburquerque, where our riding school is located.
On our horseback riding you can observe our diverse fauna and flora of the following towns:
- The surroundings of the Old Friars.
- The sentinel area.
- The eye of the devil.
- The Hermitage of the Santiagos.
We also made various views of the surrounding towns: Codosera, Villa del Rey, San Vicente and the Peña del Águila Reservoir among others.
We also offer routes through the center of the town where we can visit the different monuments such as the majestic Alvaro de Luna Castle and the 15th century Church of Santa María, minimum 2 people per route.

Everything was great. The ride on horseback was as pleasant as Teresa Correa, who took care of us very well. Just what we wanted, a quiet horseback ride through the Extremadura dehesa. I would definitely recommend it.
