La Canunia

La Canunia is a splendid Equestrian Center located in Roccaforte Mondovì, in the province of Cuneo.

The center organizes the following activities at its facilities:

• Introductory courses - 1st degree in the E.N.-G.E.A. classification

• Advanced courses, always E.N.-G.E.A., of 2nd and 3rd degree

• Training courses for professionalsin the sector (Assistants and Environmental Equestrian Guides) corresponding to I.S.O.9001-2000 certified patents

For those who wish to live an experience immersed in the nature of the Piedmont countryside, La Canunia offers numerous trekkings, ranging from high-altitude trekking to trekking for children, also including trekking of a cultural nature and training courses.

Enthusiasts will also be able to participate in a full-immersion weekend of basic equestrian practices and the main techniques of horseback riding.

Among the splendid itineraries proposed, the most appreciated and evocative ones are:

• Trekking on the Deserta Langarum Trails

• Via Nord-Ovest del Monviso

• The wine route (the Langa)

For the more experienced it will also be possible to participate in multi-day trekkingin itineraries in the Maritime Alps.

In the case of multi-day stays, it is possible to stay overnight in the accommodation facilities affiliated with the Equestrian Center (hotels, refuges, guesthouses and campsites), while the horses will be able to enjoy a board > especially for them.
