With Hífico La Fresneda you will enter the Asturian nature with the help of our expert riders and our horses. We have facilities where you can get started in the world of horse riding and routes where you can put what you have learned into practice.
We do the horseback riding routes along the Asturian beaches, except in summer, when there is more crowd. If you prefer, we can take routes in the mountains throughout the year, thanks to which you can discover the Somiedo Natural Park, (only during the summer), the Camino de Covadonga or, if you have it in mind, the Camino de Santiago.
The routes are designed for all types of levels, from those who have never started riding to expert riders.
Some of our horse riding routes in Asturias are:
- Vaiquerada. We will ride between Luarca and Braña de Aristébano, where we will accompany a wedding couple and enjoy a cowboy wedding that will be celebrated on the last Sunday in July.
- La Collada. This route is done during the winter in the snowy mountain.
- Camino de Covadonga. For two days you can enjoy a route in which we will end by seeing the Santina. We will spend the night in Llames de Parres.
- Camino de Santiago. From La Fresneda, passing through Cornellana, Campiello, Grandas de Salime, O Cadavo de Valeira, San Román de Retorta, Arzúa and finally, El monte de Gozo, you will spend an unforgettable week doing the road on horseback
