We assure you an overwhelming experience that is only possible when you are guided by experts like us at Hípica Rabadeira, with more than 25 years of experience riding horses between the Galician province and its neighbor Portugal.
During our horseback routes, we will find remnants of Romanesque or religious architecture, historic trade routes and even paths that are famous for their pagan character, all while we travel along paths of the Camino de Santiago /strong>, which vary depending on the horseback excursion you choose, such as:
- Taking the French road from O Cebreiro: The horseback route lasts 7 days and departing from our rural accommodation in O Cebreiro strong>we will reach towns like Triacastela and Samos on the first day of the journey. The third day we passed through Sarriá to Portomarín.On the fourth day we will head to Vilas de Donas and Palas de Rei. We will spend the fifth day reaching Arzúa and from the sixth and seventh day we will enjoy Santiago de Compostela.
- Doing the French Way from Astorga: Where a 10-day journey awaits you that will begin in El Rabanal and we will head to Ponferrada. On the third day from Ponferrada we will go to Trabadelo. Starting on the fourth day we will arrive at O Cebreiro and from here we will join the typical route of this itinerary and follow the same route as the previous one.
- Trying the Portuguese path starting from Ponte de Lima: This is undoubtedly an adventure with capital letters, where we will cross the Portuguese border riding on horseback for 8 days. We will leave Vigo and go to Ponte de Lima on the first day. Upon arrival we will go to Valença. Once we have left Valença we will arrive at Porriño. On the fourth day we will go to Soutomaior. Starting on the fifth day, leaving Soutomaior behind, we arrived at Pontevedra. When we leave this region we will head towards Padrón. Arriving on the seventh day, from Padrón we will pass through Brión and Ames. Until we finally arrive at Santiago de Compostela on the eighth day.
- Traveling along the mythical route to the end of the world, going from Santiago to Cape Finisterre or trying its variant, the Route of the Lighthouses. These are shorter than the previous ones, only 4 days, but of inexplicable beauty and following a very coastal itinerary. The first day we depart from Santiago de Compostela until we reach Negreira. When we leave this town we will go to Olveiroa. On the third day we will leave from Olveiroa to head towards Muxía and finally, the fourth day will be dedicated to reaching the disturbing Cape of Finisterre. The alternative of the Lighthouse Route, presents the same route, but between Muxía and Finisterre, one more stop is added, the paradisiacal coastal town of Lires, and then go to Cape of Finisterre.
- Taking the Arrieiro route, which lasts 3 days and starts from Ourense to be able to see the entire ria ofPontevedra.
- Enjoying a half-day horseback ride, which is ideal to break the monotony of any day. Our half-day horse riding routes last 3 hours, between 12 and 15 kilometers, and a ride between the mountains and valleys of the town of Puentecaldelas awaits us.
- Or trying a one-day horseback excursion, where we structure our horseback ride in two parts: the first, in the morning, taking a ride between valleys and the ones through the villages that inhabit it until we reach a town where we will have lunch in a rural restaurant. After regaining our strength, we continued the horse route for 2 more hours, this time through mountainous areas and extensive forests.
If you are a self-respecting adventurer, then we have no doubt that any of these great plans have captivated you and exalted you with emotion. So don't hesitate, we know you want to go on an adventure. Treat yourself to that well-deserved treat.

Everything was perfect. The route was beautiful and a lot of fun. Rafa and Carmen are charming, they explain everything very well and you can see their passion for horses. They are very well cared for and taught to take people with no experience. It was our first time, but we will definitely repeat.
Company's response:
We love that you liked it. A greeting and here we are at your disposal.
