At Granja Tara we go out for walks on gentle horses ready to offer you relaxed excursions half a kilometer from the El Cotillo area. In this part of Fuerteventura you have the opportunity to ride seeing cliffs that stand out against the Atlantic and extensive, very quiet beaches.
Our main excursions are:
- Horseback riding along the coast: with a journey of between 90 minutes and 2 hours while we see the sea and feel its breeze.
- Sunset on horseback: a 1 and a half hour route that we accompany with typical Spanish tapas leaving at sunset.
- Mountain excursions: on this occasion they are itineraries according to which we enter the island and access the west coast.
In any case we can pick you up at your accommodation and take you back when we have finished the expedition.
Children can ride our Shettys ponies and visit the two donkeys that live on the premises.
Enjoy horse riding in the most familiar atmosphere, we do not ask for a minimum number of participants for the excursions and we go out with a maximum of 5 people to guarantee the tranquility of the ride.

It is important to bear in mind that it is a shelter for horses and other animals, it is not a hípica. As a result, not all horses are suitable for an excursion that includes galloping. To give you an idea of the "adrenaline" of the excursion, the monitors go on foot with the horses. It is a suitable excursion for families with children or beginners, for expert riders it is boring. The natural environment is very beautiful. The "picnic" with which they told us that the excursion was ending was not such, they only offered us drinks when they returned. I do not recommend it, nor do I stop recommending it, but I do not think that enough information is provided in advance so that people know if the excursion can be adapted to their expectations. -

In the same group 2 Spaniards, 2 Germans, 2 English and 2 French. The English of explanation leaves much to be desired. I had to call 4 times for the confirmation of the tour.
I had problems with the payment of the same and they attended to me in a really pitiful way.

Our groups are for up to 5 people. For a personalized treatment is a guide with the advanced and another with the beginners. We go to the coast of El Cotillo to enjoy the sunset with breathtaking views.
