Set off to discover the forest of Rochefort-en-Yvelines on horseback! Located in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse, our Moulin de la Forge stables are the ideal place to explore the ancient hunting grounds of the kings of France. Without further ado, saddle up for a fun, rural ride in the Yvelines.

Our state-certified instructors welcome you every day a few dozen kilometers from Paris to organize tailor-made walks:

• Our hand-held pony rides: a perfect activityfor little ones! From the age of 2, and with the support of an instructor, your child will be able to make initial contact with the animal and gradually become familiar with their new pony friend. Rather than a ride, our offer for budding riders allows you to awaken your child and establish an emotional relationship between him and his mount. On the program: care and brushing of the pony, discovery of the equestrian center, and obviously, after building confidence, a very first ride in the saddle!

• Our walks in the Rochefort forest: a dive into the unspoiled rural setting of Yvelines! We assign you a frame based on your size and experience. If you are a beginner in horse riding, don't panic! The activity is open to amateur riders, and our friendly horses accustomed to contact with humans will be happy to receive your saddle for a fun ride. The route traced by our experienced guides takes you through the shady meadows of the region, towards Rambouillet and its famous Renaissance castle.

Meet at Moulin de la Forge, in Longvilliers, a town located a few minutes from Rochefort-en-Yvelines and Dourdan, for an unforgettable horseback ride! From Paris, allow around 50 minutes of travel time via the A10 motorway.
