Caballos de San Leonardo
Caballos de San Leonardo

Company Overview
At Caballos de San Leonardo we go out daily to explore different mountains and roads throughout Castile. Our facilities are located in Soria, in San Leonardo de Yagüe, and also in Covarrubias in the province of Burgos.
So that you can enjoy it to your liking, we have prepared departures of different durations:
- 1-2 hour routes: we will visit the area closest to our riding arenas. You will cross Covarrubias and you will marvel at its most hidden paths. You can also go through San Leonardo de Yagüe and enjoy a most peculiar mountain.
- 4-hour routes: if you prefer to enjoy it for longer, we will do the San Leonardo de Yagüe route a little longer, visiting surprising places. Another half-day route is the one we do through San Pedro de Arlanza where you will enjoy the Arlanza River and the landscapes it leaves along its course.
- 1-week routes: Experienced riders eager to experience strong emotions can come on a vacation full of adventure. For seven days we will visit exciting places like the Sierra de la Demanda. We have also organized a tour of the Duero River in which we will visit its source and also ride along its most spectacular bank. In addition, we will travel to other Castilian areas such as the impressive Sierra de Gredos, touring its Natural Park from start to finish. The north of the peninsula is also not exempt from our excursions and we will travel to Santander to explore its landscapes for a whole week.
These are just a small sample of everything we do. Ask us for more information because we are constantly looking for tours. If you like horses, come with us to live a very special adventure. You can come with your partner or your friends and you will enjoy a different vacation full of unforgettable sensations.

Very friendly with beautiful scenery and horses. But it was not possible to do so in San Leonardo de Yag & uuml; e so we finally did it in Covarrubias. -

We did a route on horseback with 3 friends, the experience was good, we liked the tour. At first the boy who was with us as a guide seemed a bit awkward, then better, but at first the impression was not good. -

Very good, if you like to ride a horse, for a long time, the four-hour excursion is perfect for it.
We traveled through varied and beautiful places, with steep slopes, we crossed a forest in which we had to avoid the branches.
That was in the first two hours, then we returned to the block and more people joined, those who were doing the two-hour excursion.
That second part was on softer terrain. The very comfortable saddle and the pleasant company, guided by Cesar, an accomplished rider and a good connoisseur of the terrain.
Closing the group was another employee of the block, in case there was a problem, I suppose, there was not, and giving some instructions to those who do not know how to ride. In short, a very interesting horse riding excursion that I plan to repeat. -

Lack of seriousness and foresight on the part of the owner. Reservations do not even make them because they know you, it really is not worth what it costs, especially for the carelessness of the owner.
If you pay for certain conditions, those conditions must be strictly complied with and you must not have plans B when you have not booked in the restaurant and you are outraged because you have not given us a table ...
Under my point of view too expensive for sloppiness.
The route is wonderful, the horses too, but the attention in the full board, quite improvable.
In addition, the advertising puts "Soria" and a week before going tells us that it is in Burgos. Without informing in advance or anything. -

The experience!
It was a challenge for me, because I had never been afraid. Both the owners and the guy who accompanies us, On the way, they gave me a lot of peace. They offered me one of their best horses. -

Bad weather with rain and the attendant was not very nice, the horses were tired. And the route can improve a lot. -

The 4 hour route is for people accustomed to going on horseback. With everything and not being used to riding, we had a great time.
A very nice route, some fantastic horses and a very nice and helpful monitor.
Very advisable and a very nice experience. -

It is Very well organized. We arrived and were welcomed by some very nice dogs. The stables were clean and the horses too.
The staff that we attended Was at all times very attentive. I just want to make a recommendation. We were told that wetsuits or sports or boots, I recommend everyone to wear boots because the stirrups were nailed to me, I guess because I did not know how to ride, and my foot got a little purple.
But as an experience it is unbeatable and for the next year we repeat it for sure. We are 3 adults and 3 children. We all had great time !! -

Does it have to be cheaper than 23? Every 2 months, because I was charged 568 in the middle of the year.
