The Equestrian Center Posta Ruggiano , is an equestrian center recognized as Amateur Sports Association by F.I.S.E. (Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports).

Born from the great passion of the owner Michele for horses and the whole world that revolves around them, such as horse riding, nature, life in the open air, trying to bring more and more people closer to this fantastic world.

Our riding school is actually a tourist and equestrian center located in a strategic and at the same time quiet position, in the heart of the Gargano National Park , a stone's throw from the magnificent Umbra Forest, about 12 Km from Manfredonia .

We are undoubtedly the ideal solution for a holiday of rest and tranquility in the unspoiled nature of the karst mountains, a place to recover contact with nature.

Our riding school has 25 horses of the Murgese breed , a native breed, all very docile, reliable, safe and used to overcoming all the difficulties that can be found in our territory and also used to being in contact with the human being.

Given our privileged location in the Gargano National Park, much of our associational activity is related to country horse riding with walks lasting several hours and trekking for one or more days.

These activities are not reserved so much for the more experienced, as for those who do not have much experience ; also offering the possibility to participate with your own horse or to rent one of the horses available to the center.

The Trekking are organized during all seasons, even in winter, when you can have the opportunity to cross and observe fantastic snow-covered terrain.

• Horseback riding of 2/3 hours: We will take you to see rock arrays, caves and ancient Daunian settlements, panoramic points;
• Half day walks: Woods and paths, nature, wild animals, shining vegetation and the history of the park ... from Wolves to Lupari ... from Briganti to Gentarmi ... between history and nature;
• Full day walks: In the beating heart of the Umbra Forest, strolling through paths, mule tracks or among the trees, in search of the exclusivity present on the Gargano or at the Giants of the Wood, with the possibility of packed lunch or light lunch at a former barracks of Guardiaboschi;
• Multi-day walks: We offer transhumance of wild horses or cows, or a tour of the whole Gargano passing from Manfredonia to Vieste, Lesina, Sannicandro and San Giovanni Rotondo;

For those who need it, the Equestrian Center works in collaboration with the Hotel Menta eRosemary , which offers you 25 rooms, to give you the possibility of a relaxing weekend surrounded by nature.
