Hummingbird Helicopters is a helicopter flight training school based at Doncaster Sheffield International Airport. We offer introductory flights, trial lessons and pilot training courses, so whether you would like to become a pilot or are looking for a special gift for someone, you are at the right place!

An introductory flight makes a great gift for someone adventurous who have always dreamt of flying a helicopter. We have several flight experience packages, from 20-minute flights to 1-hour helicopter tours, so everyone can find a suitable option. If you so wish, we can tailor the longer flights to your needs, so if there is any particular site you would like to see, then just let us know when booking!

If you would like to try yourself at the controls of the helicopter to see if flying a helicopter is for you, then come to take a trial lesson with one of our qualified instructors. As our Robinson R22 helicopter has dual controls, you will have the opportunity to fly the aircraft after a one-to-one pre-flight briefing. If after this experience you would like to take the next step and obtain a private pilot's licence, we also offer comprehensive helicopter pilot training courses.
