Heli Ride

Heli Ride Helicopters is based at Halfpenny Green Airport, Bobbington (near Stourbridge). This airport is an ideal place for pilot training because training here allows future pilots to gain experience of flying in class G airspace and to develop confidence in radio communication. We offer you trial lessons, pilot training courses, as well as gift, team building and hover challenge flights.

If you have been thinking about becoming a pilot, but you haven’t made up your mind yet, then our Helicopter Trial Lesson is the perfect opportunity to try out flying a helicopter. We offer 30 to 60 minute long R22 and R44 trial flights including prior briefing. If you are interested in getting your helicopter pilot licence, then take our training course: we provide Private Pilot’s Licence training for those who would like to fly a helicopter on their own.

We also offer adventure activities and organise helicopter team building days for companies, as well as hover challenge days that are open to the general public and can be a great gift for people who are interested in flying. If you would like to give an even greater surprise to your loved ones, then choose our helicopter gift experience and give them a whole day long flight experience including two flights.
