Museu do Tesouro Real

We are theRoyal Treasury Museum,a space where we organize events and other activities in addition to visits to the museum.

It was founded on June 1, 2022 and is located in the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda in Lisbon. This museum is located in the western part of the palace and contains a wide variety of jewels on display from Portugal's royalty.

It was built in 1795 with the aim of being the residence of the Kings of Portugal. It was only completed in the 19th century due to the French invasion, but since then until today it has been one of the most important museums in Lisbon.
The architecture is neoclassical and its rooms feature antique details, such as stucco and 19th century furniture. Inside we hold musical concerts, exhibitions, meetings, seminars, banquets, filmingand theatrical performances among many other events.

Our building also has a cafeteria that offers impressive panoramic views of the city. It is a relaxing rest area where you can have breakfast, lunch or a coffee overlooking the river.

In our different rooms you can see special and exclusive collections from the former Portuguese Royal House, such as gold and diamonds from Brazil, crown coins and medals, royal insignia and private collections, among others. other relics of history.
