Lisboa Story Centre

Welcome to Lisbon Story Centre, a cultural center located in Terreiro do Paço where we tell the most important events from ancient history to the present.

The building was built on the hills through which the Tagus River passes and has spectacular views of the Atlantic Sea.

Lisbon is an impressive city full of history and beautiful landscapes, that is why at Lisbon Story Centre, we work so that you have the best experiences and that you are transported through scenery, representations and multimedia projections to the principles of the history of Lisbon.

Our center offers all visitors an exhibition consisting of a tour of around 60 minutes in which you will feel as if you were in the 16th century. Here you will discover products that were transported by caravels, two of the vessels that Columbus used on his first voyage.
The exhibition is made up of 5 different sections on the ground floor. Here you will learn about the history of Lisbon chronologically with a professional guide who will explain everything to you in different languages.

Next you will participate with the Marquis of Pombal to rebuild the city, you will have to have good ideas! You will see everything from the beginning to the present.

We will continue to the second floor where the sixth section is located. Here you will see a model of the city and discover all the architecture in detail. We also have a temporary exhibition area and a balcony to celebrate different events!
