Company Overview

We are the Segovia Cathedral, an organization located in the Plaza Mayor of Segovia, right at the highest point of the city that offers cultural visits inside,

Construction began in 1525 by the Segovians to replace the old cathedral that was located in the gardens of Alcázar that was destroyed during the war. Its style is Gothic, and its door, known as the Door of Forgiveness is located facing west.

One of the most important elements of the cathedral is the tower, important for being the place where the bell ringer lived until the mid-20th century.

We adapt to anyone, from the little ones, to retirees, large families, students and the disabled.

We have different options regarding visits. The first is a general visit to the cathedral and the Episcopal Palace. We have another option in which you can enjoy a guided tour of the cathedral and the tower separately, although if you prefer to go to both with At the same entrance we offer you a pack for it. Finally, we have a night visit to the tower You will take a tour of its illuminated interior!

We also have a great program of activities for school groups in order to teach the historical, cultural, religious and artistic values of the cathedral. Our goal is to transmit and promote the importance of this place in history.

All teachers will be able to organize visits so that students can learn and discover everything that this wonderful temple hides. We adapt to any age and educational level!

We are waiting for you.
