At Cal Serrats we are lovers of agriculture, livestock and traditions and we do not want any of the values they transmit to be lost. For this reason, we have designed a beautiful guided tour of our facilities where you will put yourself for a few hours in the shoes of an authentic shepherd of sheep and lambs.
The duration of the visitusually lasts one morning, from 8 to 12, hence the name of the activity:The shepherd's morning.
As soon as you arrive, we will introduce you to our flock and tell you what they are like, what character they have and what they eat. You can hold the little ones in your arms and we will point out their most notable differences. You can also milk a cow after following our instructions.
After feeding them we will go out to bid in our fields. Don't miss out on how the herding dog works, it will surprise you!
Being an outdoor activity, we depend totally on the weather conditions, since if it rains or snows the sheep do not go out into the field and we feed them in the corral so that they do not get cold.
If you dress us in the second half of June you can see how we shear the sheep, a true art!
Each season varies the daily routine a little, so we advise you to check the schedules and particularities of the season before making your reservation.
We also hold bachelor parties for young urbanites who want to remember the customs of the countryside.
