In the Villacastín Aerodrome , at 80km from Madrid, in the province of Segovia , glidingbytes is born with the idea of giving coverage to what we think is the sport of adventure par excellence, the flight without motor .
We are just 50 minutes by car of Madrid , so it is a good opportunity to get closer to try a unique experience, something that you surely have never done.
The glider allows us flying in the same way as the eagles, hawks and vultures , we all need the same ascending currents to remain in the air and thus we fly all together in them, taking advantage of the most ecological energy that exists , which gives us nature, which will make us feel 100% immersed in it. It is a feeling that no other activity can give you.
But what is the flight without motor ? We will explain it to you.
Contrary to what most people believe, flying without engine is one of the safer flights thanks to its rigid and iron wings structure . This type of aircraft can use external systems to take off or can incorporate an engine to help you take off.
glidingbytes offers a range of alternatives always with the aim of giving the highest quality of experience in the "candle flights"
In the dissemination flights , for which they start, we use motorcyclers which, as the name implies, are devices that make use of the engine for takeoff and, then, once they have reached a certain height, they stop it.
