Algonquin Spain

Algonquin Spain is an English and French immersion camp. Every year we invite children and native instructors (ratio 1 instructor to 3 children) from Normandy, Brittany, New Zealand, USA, UK, Russia, Switzerland and of course Canada, who will share games, songs, activities and experiences, creating friendships beyond our border. To learn you have to do, have fun, share with other children of the same age who speak other languages. This is the philosophy of the great international family of Algonquin Spain. Come meet us.

What will be our daily routine?

We will have breakfast outdoors sharing a table with children of at least three different nationalities. We will get ready and start group activities. We will have small groups of about 6 children per 2 monitors. They are adapted to the level/age of each participant. Next we begin the routines: Show and Tell in another language, My favorite dish, Yesterday I liked it...

And then? It's time for Morning English Hour. We will teach them different songs in English and French, plus we will write our own play. We will show it to the parents at the end of the campaign.

We will have a delicious lunch in the middle of nature, as we hike through the most spectacular corners of the area, telling adventures in other languages.

After eating, the activities continue: crafts, workshops, storytelling... In the afternoon comes the Afternoon English Hour to continue practicing the songs and our work, in addition to creating a book or doing other activities, all them in English and French.

We will continue having fun with outdoor games, in the pool, dances and many surprises.
