In Gijón, very close to the city center, we have the only artificial grass field where bubble soccer is played. Therefore, it would be advisable to come with sports shoes, comfortable clothing such as shorts and a t-shirt and even some spare clothes since it is quite common to get dirty.
A minimum group of 6 people is required for the game to start, although the normal thing is to bring together 12 participants, to face two teams, or even more, the >changes during the course of the match are permitted and are almost necessary given the exhausting nature of the activity.
The match lasts one hour and a referee, one of our qualified monitors, referees the decisions. It is an activity suitable for both adults and children, all mixed together, however, we have designed a bubble soccer match exclusively for children's categories. If you want more information about this, please contact the organizing company.
Of course, it is a tremendously safe experience in which there are no mishaps. But there are no rules either: the only mandatory clause is that of scoring in the opponent's goal.
It is you who set your own limits. As there are no regulations, you can collide with your opponent, collide on purpose or fly to intercept the ball faster than your opponents. There is no defined way to play bubble soccer, nor do we need one.
This is what is achieved with the giant inflatable balls that surround us, that we do not feel any attack, blow or infringement, our legs are free to try to kick the ball and score a goal for the rival club.
The more clashes there are, the more fun. With each collision, greater adrenaline rushes. There will come a time when, instead of a regular football game, it will seem more like an intergalactic fight in zero gravity.
