We invite you to delve into the wine world with this visit to Bodegas Monje in the heart of Tenerife. The Winery that has views of Mount Teide is located in "La Hollera" a place belonging to the Municipality of El Sauzal.
On the tour we will tell you the history that surrounds the Monje family, who have been dedicated to the world of wine since 1750. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to taste a glass of one of our young wines, and of course paired with an appetizer.
You will discover how classic practices such as oak barrels coexist with the most modern maceration mechanisms, a contrast of past and present that are a symbol of this winery.
The wines are grown on volcanic soils, something that influences the flavor and texture of the wine, and that will ensure that it does not go unnoticed by your palate.

The winery is beautiful and recommendable, but the tasting is very loose. We tried a red and a white wine, the third was a Muscat, we had no choice. The 3 appetizers were 2 toasties, and the third was chocolate made with vinegar. But very fast everything and without explanation of each wine. -
