Windsurfing is a sport that has recently become very fashionable, especially among young people, this is because it offers truly unique and unforgettable emotions and allows you to train while having fun!
This water sport is a variation of surf and consists of sailing on water using a board, similar to a surf one, and a sail . With this basic course you will have the opportunity to learn all the secrets of this sport and to discover Sardinia from a completely different perspective, that of windsurfing!
The course is divided into two days and each lesson will be approximately 2 hours. Before starting to sail at sea there will obviously be a theoretical lesson on the beach provided by our qualified instructors, in which the functioning of this sport, its characteristics and how to face the sea waves in total safety will be explained to you.
In the first lesson you will learn to hoist the sail, get into the correct position for the start, sail abeam and rotate the board to change the direction of travel. In the second lesson, however, we will delve deeper into the more technical aspects of this sport, you will learn to sail at different speeds, upwind and downwind.
The teaching method used by us for the lessons of the windsurf course follows the teaching guidelines of the VDWS (international water sports association) and has the aim of making the student independent and safety.
Take sunglasses, sun cream and towel and come to Bari Sardo, in the province of Nuoro, to take this basic windsurfing course!
