It’s simple, using just a board and an inflatable wing, fast, and incredibly cool. If you want to take the plunge into this sport, our two-hour introductory session is the perfect choice for you.
You need good winds and flat water to learn how to wing and we have both in abundance at our venue on the shores of Christchurch Harbour. Here, we’ll teach you to control the wing on dry land before taking to the water and starting to complete runs across its surface.
Our experienced instructors, who hold RYA qualifications, will keep you safe and smiling as you learn the basics of this innovative sport. They’ll also supply you with wingsurfing kit, wetsuits and buoyancy aids if you don’t have your own.
We run wingsurfing and wingfoiling for over 18s, and we keep the tuition to 1-1 or 1-2 so that you get our full attention.
Don’t be intimidated, wingsurfing looks hard but it feels fantastic!
