Do you think you’ve got what it takes? Then sign up for our intermediate windsurfing sessions! We can teach you to complete faster gybes, use a harness and footstraps correctly, improve your stance and more.
Our watersports academy is on the shores of Christchurch Harbour, a perfect location for windsurf training. But we can also take you out on to the open sea to give you your first taste of riding the waves!
Each two-hour session is led by one of our RYA-qualified instructors. They’re passionate about windsurfing, which allows them to pass on their skills in the most effective way. They can also provide you with windsurfing equipment, lifejackets and buoyancy aids if you need them. Of course, you’re welcome to bring your own!
Intermediate sessions are for those over eight years old who already have basic windsurfing skills. We can run this session as a 1-1, 1-2 or group experience depending on your preference.
