This experience is totally unusual, because it is experienced at the end of the day. You will discover the magical atmosphere of the canyon at dusk after having contemplated the panoramas which surround the Pont d'Arc and cross the underground caves of the region. The most courageous can try out abseilings from the canyon or zipline courses. The route is very complete, it mixes walking, swimming, climbing, but also caving.
This is a special adventure which will take you through landscapes of all kinds, each one richer and more diverse than the last. You will walk through the cliffs to the forest passing through the scrublands, before arriving at a river to reach the flagship caves of the Ardèche. This outdoor activity is the ideal way to visit Southern Ardèche.
No experience is required to participate in this hike. It is aimed at everyone, from the age of eight. The descent equipment and protection is entirely provided by the team. You will only need to take sports clothing, a pair of closed shoes, a small backpack, a towel and swimsuit, and something to hydrate and fill you up. A guide will welcome you to explain the route and the course of the course. It will remind you of the basic safety instructions you need to know.
We are near the town of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. The site is accessible from Valence (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes drive). If you live in the area or are visiting for a vacation or a weekend, don't miss out on this experience.
