How long the activity lasts

The camp lasts five days in a row, in total, 25 hours. If the children go to the Jesuit School of Bilbao, there are two dates to choose from in July: from the 3rd to the 7th or from the 17th to the 21st. If they come to the AS Fabrik Urban Laboratories they have three shifts: from the 26th to the 30th. June, from July 10 to 14 or from August 28 to September 1.

When summer arrives, 50 million plans arise, from improvised plans to others that are already predetermined in advance. We are going to bet on the second alternative since what we are going to propose takes some time to prepare. Whether you are fans of robotics or not, we are sure that, at least, you will feel sympathy for this world.

There we have hundreds of examples of robots that walked across the movie screen, arousing admiration among the public, regardless of their age. Who doesn't remember the adventures of Short Circuit, the tenderness that Wall-E transmitted or the couple formed by the galactics R2-D2 and C-3PO?

You are not on the wrong track, we are going to hold a technology camp aimed at the creation of a multirobot that takes place over five consecutive days in Bilbao capital, being able to select the dates and locations that best adapt to the particular circumstances of the users: at the Jesuit College from July 3 to 7 or from the 17th to the 21st of the same month, or at the AS Fabrik Urban Laboratories from June 26 to 30, from July 10 to 14 or from August 28 to September 1.

The choice will depend entirely on you, also considering the preferences of your children, who, after all, are the ones who will enjoy this workshop taught by qualified teachers >, with extensive experience in the field of robotics, in a single schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday strong>.

The children who come, between 7 and 9 years old, or from 5 to 6 only if they know how to read, They will learn to build a robot made up of 173 blocks of pieces that will have one or another function depending on the assembly we have realized: up to five classes that can give rise to a mobile catapult, a gripper robot or an elevator, to give some examples.

Previously, in order to control it, it will be necessary to acquire knowledge of MakeCode, a programming language that, associated with a Micro:bit board, will allow us to manage the movement of the robot through its two motors and a servo. In the end, through the actuation of the servo, we will obtain a different utility.
