There, in Ibaizabal Ikastola, at 54 Intxaurrondo Street, we offer the little ones a technology workshop that will be held from July 3 to 7 or from July 17 to 21, the user is free to choose the dates that best suit their vacations and those of the little ones in the house.
The classes are taught for five successive days, from Monday to Friday, from early morning to >09:00 until lunchtime at 14:00. In it, children, between 9 and 12 years old, will learn notions of robotics and programming that are superior to those explained in other workshops for younger ages.
Our mission will be to build a robot composed of 146 blocks of pieces, 4 motors and 4 omnidirectional wheels. To do this, they will have computers, with instruction from a group of highly qualified teachers and with the availability of the most modern materials, including the special wheels that we talked about before, which allow our robot to go in a diagonal direction and rotate on itself same 360 degrees.
To manage the robot, we will previously have to learn to program with a Micro:bit board which, together with the MakeCode program, are responsible for managing the operation of its 4 engines. Likewise, apart from the basic components of the robot, in our workshop we are going to add a HuskyLens camera that enables the detection of colors, objects and shapes.
This represents a significant advance compared to the competing program, since we are talking about a smart device that considerably improves the abilities and skills of our creation. On the other hand, the inclusion of this mechanism helps our students learn about the latest improvements and integrate them into automation processes.
