Diving with bull shark in Playa del Carmen 4 hours

We take you to live one of the best diving experiences you will ever have. Immerse yourself in the water and live the adventure of diving with bull sharks in Playa del Carmen, you will be able to see them up close and see how they behave in their natural habitat.

We proudly tell you that we are the first Shark Protection Association of Playa del Carmen, S.O.S, and we continually work with local fishermen and dive shops to guarantee the protection of the bull shark population that arrives. year after year to the waters of the Mexican Caribbean.

The adventure comes with our divein the open sea, we will descend with the current allowing the sharks to approach us, once underwater, the group forms a line and remains on their knees. We will sit on the bottom of the sea for about 15 minutes to watch the sharks come and go, the sensation of seeing them up close is unique. We will dive to a maximum depth of 25 meters.

Bull sharks can measure up to 4 meters and are harmless to humans, they feed on aquatic species such as fish, turtles and marine mammals. In Playa del Carmen, most of the specimens you will see are pregnant females, as they usually migrate to the Caribbean just to reproduce or to see their babies born.

To guarantee your safety, we do not take groups larger than 7 people. If the group is 4 people, an instructor will accompany them, if there are 5 to 7 people, two instructors will go with the group. Our instructors are certified and highly trained to carry out this adventure. The requirement to be able to participate in this experience is that you have Open Water Diver certification or equivalent.

It is important that you know that shark season is from mid-November to mid-January, some years the season can last until March, check the dates when making your reservation so you can plan in advance for this great experience.
