Come and enjoy the joys of the Ocean associated with the discovery of a discipline: surfing.
This 1 hour surf lesson will allow your child to develop their balance and coordination while having fun on the water! It is also the ideal activity to allow him to release his energy by spending himself in a fun way.
Our surf school is located on Plage de la Négade, in Soulac-sur-Mer. It is a quiet, uncrowded beach located between Gurp beach and Amélie beach. The town of Soulac-sur-Mer is a family seaside resort which is full of architectural wonders such as the Notre-Dame basilica. of the End of the Lands, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We therefore invite you to meet us at our surf school located on the Plage de la Négade. Our team is waiting for you there and will welcome you and your child. Following this, your child will leave with the other participants to equip themselves. Groups are made up of a maximum of 5 people in order to allow the best possible monitoring.
The class begins with a warm-up on the beach and then we will get to the heart of the matter. During this session, we will teach your child to discover the ocean, to dive under the waves, to choose the waves suitable for surfing, to tame their equipment, to row and stand on a surfboard.. You can be sure that at the end of the session, your child will leave with a head full of knowledge! When the lesson comes to an end, we will return to reception where we will debrief with you and your child about this hour of learning.
Note:
- You must not be over 9 years old to take part in this surf lesson.
- This surf course takes place between April and October.
- It is necessary to bring sunscreen, a bath towel and a swimsuit.

Indeed, this session of three surf lessons is ideal for rapid progress and for assimilating the skills necessary to practice this discipline. Learning to surf also allows your child to work on their perseverance, their combativeness, respect for priority rules, their concentration... This discipline allows them to acquire many concepts which will be useful to them in their daily life.
For these surf lessons, we will meet you at the Plage de la Négade in Soulac-sur-Mer. This city has a very particular history: it was submerged under the waves in 580 and reappeared in the 11th century. The beach we are on is an ideal sliding spot because it is far from the crowds, which allows the children to concentrate their attention on the instructor's words.
Once we arrive at the meeting point mentioned above, we will pick up your child, starting with a short briefing. We will explain the progress of today's session as well as that of the sessions that will follow. Your child will then come with us to equip themselves and join the group. We will start with a little warm-up on the sand to prepare the body for the effort. Following this, our professional instructor will begin his surf lesson.
On the program, discovery of the ocean, learning about places suitable for swimming or surfing and dangerous places, discovery of equipment, safety rules... As the sessions progress and according to the progress of your child, the content and knowledge transmitted will change and at the end of this course, your child should be able to manage independently on the waves.
At the end of each session, we will give you feedback on what your child has learned.

- This surf session is intended for children aged 9 years maximum.
- Your children will never be more than 5 per session.
- Please bring a swimsuit, a bath towel and sun protection.
