Located in La Palmyre, in the commune of Mathes, we are very close to Royan and Tremblade. Our surf spots are ideal for discovering the activity in safety. Between Bordeaux and La Rochelle, we have no shortage of waves to surf on the sublime beaches of the West.
This course will help you discover the principles of surfing and the joys caused by this board sport!
How does the activity take place?
- We welcome you to our school in La Palmyre then we will agree on a surf spot according to the weather conditionsand your level.
- Your instructor will give you a quick briefing on the activity and you will equip yourself with the equipment (wetsuit and board).
- We will have the possibility to take the shuttle to go to the agreed link.
- Once on the beach, you will do a short theoretical course with your instructor to understand the sea and the waves, then he will tell you the safety rules.
- Class begins! Take advantage of these two hours to improve under the watchful eye of your instructor and have fun in the waves!
They are State Certificate in Surfing and Nautical Rescuer to ensure your safety and your comfort during the session . For your comfort, quality equipment is made available to you for the entire duration of the course.

We suggest you do a 3-day surfing course to introduce you to this discipline. You will have 2 hours of lessons every day, accompanied and advised by our experienced instructors, wanting only one thing, that you succeed in surfing, all in the conviviality and the good atmosphere. To maximize your chances of success, we offer youquality equipment, boards adapted to your level and a wetsuit in your size.
Advised by our instructors, you will very quickly be able to stand up on your board and experience your first sliding experiences.
You will be able to discuss and ask advice from our instructors, but also from the people who will share your session. The goal of the course is to teach you the fundamentals for those wishing to learn this discipline, or to improve your level if you already know how to surf.
Good to know:
- Please be present 10 minutes before the start of each session.
- Remember to protect yourself from the sun.

We will meet you at the beach, in the town of Mathes, more precisely at La Palmyre, in Charente-Maritime, on the Arvert peninsula, for training intended to make you the best surfer!
You will learn to surf at your own pace and in the company of a competent teacher throughout this course called "passion course". The training is divided into 5 lessons of 2 hours per day.
Students will enjoy a quick warm-up after putting on their neoprene wetsuit, followed by theoretical instruction on the beach before launching into surfing.
During the 5 days of the course, the instructors provide students with safe supervision.
