This snowshoe excursion is suitable for everyone, adults and children aged 5 and over, so it is the perfect experience to do with your family or with a group of friends which must consist of a minimum of 8 people.
We'll be waiting for you at 5pm in the afternoon at the La Thuile ski rental, where our professional mountain guide is waiting for you to provide you with all the necessary material, including snowshoes, poles and headlamp to finally begin this excursion to discover the mountains of the Aosta Valley.
With our guide you will cross the path of the old La Thuile mines, along a circular route made incredible and magical because it is completely immersed in the woods covered by the white mantle.
During the route, you will be assisted all the time by our mountain guide and there will be several breaks, during which we will talk to you about the various animals that populate the woods and mountains of the province of Aosta, showing you the footprints left in their passage while he tells you the history of the town, formerly inhabited only by miners and of the mine, which you will have the possibility of accessing for about 20 meters between the tunnels.
Furthermore, during the excursion there is also an aperitif stop in the woods to delight in the specialties of the Aosta Valley including tegole and genepì, a typical liqueur of the area, before returning to the departure center around 7pm.
Don't forget to wear clothing suitable for the winter season, mountain boots or après-ski, gloves, hat and ski trousers.
