El Nevero is one of the highest and most important mountains in the Sierra de Guadarrama in the Community of Madridd. For the beginning of the route, the meeting point will be in the municipality of Lozoya at the detour from the port of Navafría to the Nordic ski resort at 9.00 am.
It is located on the border between the Community of Madrid and the province of Segovia, being a place with easy access and very quiet. Pico del Nevero offers the possibility of doing different routes with snowshoes. From the top you will have a spectacular view of the Lozoya Valley and the Peñalara massif. A very easy route suitable for the whole family, regardless of the experience you have in this type of activities.
