When the snowy season comes to theSierra de Estrela Natural Park, it is time to take out the snowshoes and begin to retrace the routes through the mountains in a different way, on a white blanket that allows us know the depths of the Natural Park, obtaining another point of view of it.
We will begin walking from the highest point not only of the mountain range, but of all of continental Portugal, a privileged location located in Castelo Branco, near the town of Unhais da Serra. For 2 hours we will begin the march in which the snowshoes will allow us to overcome any terrain no matter how unstable the snow has made it.
Burn up and come see the most beautiful places in the Sierra de Estrela where sport and nature come together under a white blanket to offer you a new adventure that you will undoubtedly want to repeat again.
*It is essential to add a group of 4 people to carry out the route with snowshoes.
