The starting point of this journey through the snowy fields of the Sierra de Ensija will be the parking of the Palomera, on the same Saturday of the week . From this point we will give you the snowshoes and the poles and, after the explanations of the guides, we will begin the ascent to the refuge of the strong>Sierra de Ensija.
Once at the refuge and after regaining our strength, we can take a walk outside the vicinity to enjoy the views of the Cadí - Moixeró region. We will explore an area rich in vegetation where the pine forests will take center stage.
On Sunday morning we will begin the climb with snowshoes to the summit of Gallina Pelada, we will reach an altitude of more than 2000 meters and, after discovering the harmony of the Catalan valleys, we will return to the refuge and, finally, to the area where we parked our vehicles on Saturday.
You already know that in this type of activities it is essential to come prepared for the mountains, with warm and waterproof clothing, boots, hat, gloves and sunglasses. You won't have too much sunscreen for your face either.
