15-minute snowmobile tour, Port d'Envalira

If you've never gotten on a snowmobile and you still don't know if you'll like it, this 15-minute guided excursion in Port d'Envalira is the quickest way to check it out. It is reserved per motorcycle, and 1 or 2 people travel on each one: the driver, who must be 18 years old, and, if you want, a companion over 5 years old in the back seat.

The departure leaves from Port d'Envalira, next to the Grandvalira station. The guide drives in front and you follow him driving an Arctic Cat, which in a quarter of an hour allows you to learn the basics: starting, noticing how the accelerator responds on the snow, braking and taking the first curves with some ease. Don't expect a long route: it is a quarter of the one-hour excursion.

That's why it works well combined with other plans: a day of skiing in Grandvalira, a stop during the trip through the port or a morning when you just want to try something different. Come with winter clothes and gloves, because the motorcycle circulates outdoors and at that altitude the cold is noticeable.
