AFF Level 1 Skydiving Course at Suffolk 1 Day

Pondering the idea of ​​trying skydiving? 

This program requires participants to be a minimum age of 16 years old and be in good physical shape. A self-declaration medical certificate is required in order to ensure maximum safety. If you have doubts about jumping please consult a doctor prior to committing to the course.

Doing the level 1 course with this center you'll work side by side with the AFF “birds” professionals. The course begins with a full day of ground tuition with your instructor. Covering all information related to theory and practice of skydiving and learning how to use your parachute.

You will learn safety procedures, how the equipment operates, how to exit aircraft, how to communicate during free fall, etc. Level 1 is the basic foundation for parachuting. 

After completion you will receive constructive feedback and move forward to the next adventure!

Nowadays it's common to come across a Facebook video showing people free falling or engaging in air limit sports. However, are you the kind of person who can just consume that content without the itch to try skydiving almost once? No way!

The courses provide 8 flights because each one is a level that has to be achieved. It's possible to complete all 8 flights in as little as 3 days with the help of our full-time experienced sky dive instructors.

You have the option to take it on weekends (5) or on the weekdays (3-7 days).

Enjoy the experience of jumping out of 18 flights and falling from an altitude of 14,000 ft.

This “must-do” experience gets an acceleration fall at around 120 mph. In this intensive course you will have double the number of practice sessions. It gives you a experimented course because every fall provides the chances to take advantage with the professional people who will accompany you. Learn all about the parachutes, landing, and all the performing and theory knowledge about skydiving.

With it you obtain an international paper that states you are a fully qualified and licensed to do skydive flights.

If you prefer to run it on weekends you will probably spend 5 or less weekends on the course. But, if you prefer doing the course on weekdays it could take 3 to 7 days upon completion.

The most inclusive and information dense package we offer is the Platinum Package. 

This course includes 18 skydives plus your own gear package. 

Gear package includes; logbook, goggles, gloves, altimeter, custom jumpsuit, helmet M3 impact rated.

The weight limit for a AFF sky dive for males is 15 stone or 99 kg's. For women, the weight limit is 14 stone or 89 kg's with clothing.

The AFF course is based on eight levels of accomplishment and is designed to take place over the course of a full week or can be broken down over a few weekends depending on your availability (and of course weather). 

Participants should opt to wear comfortable and sportive clothing as well as shoes. During the winter we recommend wearing long sleeves and bringing tight gloves.
