This activity takes place primarily in the town of Soulac-sur-Mer, at the Soulac la Runde airfield, less than two hours by car from >Royan, Arcachon and Bordeaux. Once you arrive there, you will be received by ainstructor and state-certified parachutist. Since this parachute introduction is designed for the general public and particularly novices, you will have a detailed briefing which lasts around fifteen minutes. The instructor describes how the activity will take place, as well as all the instructions to follow for your safety.

After completing the briefing and giving you all the necessary equipment, he will invite you to sit on board the plane, so that the instructor can make the takeoff. It will take you towards the ocean and fly for around twenty minutes, giving you the opportunity to admire exceptional Gironde panoramas.

Once the plane reaches a height of 4,000 m, its doors will open and you will jump, attached to your instructor, to experience the most sensational part of the activity: the free fall. With a speed of 200 km/h, your free fall will be intense and will last just under a minute, before reaching 1,500 m, the height in which the instructor opens the sails.

It is from this moment that your adventure becomes calmer. You will fly under sail for around ten minutes and you will be seduced by the splendid views you will have over the ocean, Pointe du Médoc and the Gironde estuary strong>. You will gradually approach the ground and land on the beach, with your feet in the sand.

It is therefore a tandem parachute jump that we suggest you do, at sunset and with a landing at the Soulac beach. 1 hour 30 minutes from Bordeaux and one hour from Royan, go to the Soulac la Runde airfield, just two kilometers from the Ocean Atlantic.

There, you will be welcomed by the staff of our skydiving club. Thanks to his professionalism and his perfect mastery of tandem jumping, you will be sure to have a time with complete confidence and, above all, in safety.

All of the instructors are graduates of the general directorate of civil aviation. After some administrative formalities, you will receive a short 15-minute training session with one of them. It aims to teach you the safety instructions and the procedure of the flight. Then, you will be equipped with the necessary equipment for the jump: your harness will be connected to that of the instructor. It will carry a main and emergency sail as well as a safety release.

Finally, you will board the plane. For 20 minutes, you will observe the beauty of the Gironde landscapes while you feel the excitement and adrenaline rising. With this sunset you will feel a feeling of peace and tranquility. Once you reach more than 3,000 meters, the doors will open and you will be about to experience the big jump!

You are ready ? You launch into the void at more than 200 km/h alongside your instructor. For approximately 50 seconds, you will be in free fall. Intense and indescribable sensations. Time stands still and you love what you are experiencing!
It's time for your instructor to release the sail. You will descend gently along for 5 to 8 minutes to observe the landscapes around you. The sunset will offer you incredible light over the ocean and the Gironde lands. If you wish, you will even have the possibility of piloting the parachute for yourself, an added feeling of freedom! Contemplate the Cordouan Lighthouse, a historic monument listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site or the surroundings of the Île d'Oléron in strong>Charente.

The parachute will get closer and closer to the beach, where you will land. Your driver will resumecontrol to make you land softly. You will set foot on the beach again, on the sand with a superb sunset in sight. You will have a hard time realizing the breathtaking experience you have just had.
