The Open Water Diver is the most popular and recognized diving course in the world. Thousands of people have learned to dive and discover the wonders of the aquatic world thanks to this program. The best thing is that you do not require previous diving experience, so you can sign up at any time.

Our instructors are certified so we guarantee you a completely safe course with the right teachers. The course lasts 3 days in which we will do different activities:

Day 1: you will learn to prepare your equipment and you will practice in our pool for 4 hours. The task for this day will be to read the first chapters of your study manual.

Day 2: you will carry out the first two dives of the course in open water, which will be a maximum of 12 m depth with a duration of 40 to 50 minutes underwater. You will also have to study your study manual for the next day.

Day 3: You will practice again with two dives of 12 m depth and 50 minutes. You will discover two new reefs. At the end of this day you will receive your certification.

By doing your dives in Playa del Carmen you will have the opportunity to discover unique seascapes, you will visit the second largest coral barrier in the world and you will be able to observe beautiful corals, brightly colored fish, up to 3 species of turtles, lobsters, and a great variety of flora and fauna that are home to the waters of the Mexican Caribbean.

With this course you will learn to explore new places, more than a certification, it is your first step to a new and fascinating marine world.

Day 1: 8:30 am to 2:00 pm

Day 2: 11:30 am to 4:00 pm
