If you are a certified Open Water Diver, we invite you to live this diving adventure in a cenote in the Riviera Maya. We will do two dives, each one full of adrenaline and emotion.
Diving in cenotes or caverns is carried out in a well of fresh water, sometimes it has a covered vault and other times they are open, where you can see the light of the sun penetrating through the open roof or through its cracks, which means that we can observe a light effect spectacle inside the cenote.
Another characteristic of these beautiful caverns are their impressive columns of stalactites and stalagmites that decorate their walls and ceilings, which fills them with mystery, also knowing that these places were occupied by the Mayans as sacred sites to carry out rituals and communicate with their gods, since they thought they were the door to the underworld.
Diving in cenotes is a new and unforgettable experience, in a safe and fun way. Cavern diving can be considered an extension of recreational diving.
It requires a diving certificate, good buoyancy and no more than a year since your last dive. Our instructors certified for diving in cenotes will lead the tour and take you to the best points of the cenote so you can appreciate its seabed. There will be one instructor for every 4 people.
It is necessary to bring a swimsuit, towel, appropriate footwear and a change of clothes. We are waiting for you to live this new adventure together.
