The cenotes were considered sacred places by the Mayans, they used them as a means of communication with their gods and they also believed that they were the portal to the underworld. These mysterious caves are pools of crystal-clear waters that hold centuries of history and mystery, so swimming in their waters is a totally different experience.
In addition to diving, and exploring the bottom of a cenote with its unique flora and fauna, you can also admire the beauty of its stalactite formations. >and stalagmites that with their different figures allow us to have an unparalleled landscape before our eyes. The rays of light that penetrate the cenotes also make the visual effects unique, being able to see to the bottom of the cenote thanks to the light that enters through its cracks or through the holes in its ceilings.
The cenotes that we can visit areCenote Azul, Cenote Media Luna or Cenote Abierto. The only requirement we ask of you to be able to live this adventure is that you have an Open Water Diver certification, due to the type of dives that are carried out in a cenote.
We handle a maximum of 4 divers per instructor, so you can be sure that your diving experience will be safe and personalized.
