The PADI Scuba Diver certification will allow you to carry out only part of the training course required by the Open Water Diver as it only includes three of the five overall sections.
With the PADI Scuba Diver certification you will be able toalways dive accompanied by an underwater guide and to a limited depth of maximum 12 metres.
This course is perfect for acquiring broad diving experience and is an excellent approach to the Open Water Diver course.
PADI Scuba Divers are qualified to dive under the direct supervision of a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or PADI Instructor, obtain refills, rent or purchase diving equipment, and participate in other diving activities, as long as they are under the required direct supervision.
The Scuba Diver certification opens the doors of the underwater world to all those who want to approach diving quickly but gradually.
The objectives of the course are:
- Learn buoyancy skills for descents and ascents, learning breathing underwater;
- Stay warm underwater;
- Become as hydrodynamic as possible;
- Pair diving techniques;
- The underwater environments and aquatic life you are likely to encounter;
- Prevention of common diving problems.
