How long the activity lasts

You can complete the course in 3 days, although it may be a little longer depending on your skills in the water and your availability.

If you have chosen Mallorca as a place to receive your diving training, we are going to tell you something: you are a very wise person. And in our diving school in Calvià you will not only learn with excellent professionals, you will also dive in dream places.

You are going to take the PADI Open Water Diver, the introductory course par excellence in the world of diving, which will then allow you to dive practically all over the planet.

The OWD is made up of 3 parts:

-First part: the theory. You will have to study 5 modules that include all the information necessary for the Open Water Diver course. You are going to do it online by watching videos comfortably at home. Then you will do a small test here to demonstrate what you have learned.

-Second part: practices in confined waters. Once the theory is over, it's time to put on the diving equipment and have the first real experience. These first dives will be in a pool or in a sheltered area of the coast. This way you will get used to using the equipment in maximum safety conditions.

-Third part: open water diving dives.In total we are going to do 4 dives, the first two up to 12 meters deep and the last 2 up to 18 meters. It is in this part where you are going to put into practice everything you have learned in the previous sessions.

We can offer you transfers from your accommodation if you are within the radius in which we work. Ask us.

We give flexibility for course times. It is usually completed within 3 days, but it all depends on you.

The PADI Open Water Diver awaits you in Mallorca.
