Here in Hull, we welcome all budding divers to get their first taste of scuba. The Try Dive programme comes from the organisational body of scuba diving, PADI, and covers the basic areas of this exciting sport.
We have a heated swimming pool where the temperature, space and water quality are perfect for your baptism into scuba diving. You don’t have to worry about waves, currents or cold water - just focus on the sensation of submersion. There are changing and toilet facilities at the pool.
During this 1-hour session, we’ll talk you through the equipment associated with diving on the side of the pool, then help you take your first underwater journey. The expertise of our qualified instructors makes this experience suitable for children as young as 8 years old, provided they know how to swim, and there's no upper age limit!
These taster sessions run every Saturday afternoon. We run open-water Try Dives at our base in Womersley too. Ask about availability.
