The course is intended for all those who have attended the basic course or who have boating experience and also for those who already have a sailing license and wish to obtain an extension for sailing (without mileage limits).
The program includes2 theory and 4 practice lessons lasting 3 hours. Every week there will be two trips to the sea where the students will learn to maneuver a medium-sized vessel, both sailing and motor.
The skipper in charge of teaching will cover the following topics during the lessons:
- Sailing, examining the effects of the wind on the sails and the dynamic consequences, the sail center and the mutual influence of the sails, without forgetting the spinnaker!
- Mooring and unmooring maneuvers but also towing and sea rescue
- Navigation and its rights
- Onboard equipment
