For two and a half hours, you can accompany us on a journey along the River Shannon, deep in the centre of Limerick City.
You won't find the level of quality instruction we offer with any competitors, as we operate a training centre for the Irish Sailing Association from our base at the Hunt Museum. This is where our adventure will begin, and we will lead you along the picturesque river with breathtaking views and remarkable local landmarks.
All of our instructors are Irish Sailing Association qualified, so we can provide new techniques to beginners to provide them with a strong foundation of skills and boost the abilities of more experienced instructors.
If you have someone in your life that would love to sail, or maybe you are that person, this is a great way to spend time with friends and family; sailing is a remarkable skill to learn, but this experience also involves exciting insights into the city of Limerick and the history that resides here.
We want all of our customers to feel safe and comfortable to create the best environment for sailing, so deliver a safety briefing before the session and any equipment you need, such as a buoyancy aid to add to our safety measures.
When we welcome beginners, our instructors will provide expert supervision on board but can do this from a rescue boat or elsewhere for more advanced sailors.
Most of our sessions will take place in our new Drascombe Lugger sailing boat, which is so secure and easy to get to grips with, but to ensure you feel comfortable on the boat, we will start in control before you let you hoist the sails when you feel comfortable enough.

We provide daily sessions from March to November so please get in touch with us to arrange a suitable time and make a booking.
