1 hour quad tour to Monticchiello from Pienza, quad for one

An hour on a quad in the Pienza countryside, up to a panoramic point on Monticchiello: it is the shortest of our tours in Val d'Orcia and is designed for those who have never driven a quad. The level is easy and the route measures 19 kilometers. Of the total hour you will spend around 30-40 minutes driving, while the rest of the time is spent between the initial explanation and the stops.

Before departure Valentino, who founded the business and guides the tours, explains how the vehicle works and gives you a short driving test. In the reviews, many guests say that they have never driven a quad before this tour and that they felt safe from the first kilometres.

We proceed on dirt roads in the middle of the fields and on some stretches of asphalt with little traffic towards the medieval village of Monticchiello. At the panoramic point we stop for photographs. From there you can see the Monticchiello cypress road, the row of cypress trees that follows the bends of the hill and has become one of the symbols of Tuscany. After the stop you return to the starting point.

A maximum of 6 quads depart on each exit. Those who already have off-road experience and are looking for a technical route will find this tour simple: in that case the two-hour tour around Pienza is more suitable, which has some more challenging stretches.

To drive you need to be 18 years of age and have a B driving license. Driving and quad rental are included, with helmet, petrol and insurance. From home you will need to bring sports clothing suitable for the season and above all closed shoes, which we do not provide.
