Deal overview
You will start, in fact, from approximately 1400 meters above sea level, around 9 am, and then descend towards the Alcantara valley following paths and routes off-road for more than 70%.
We will also give you a stop to visit the wonderful village of Castiglione di Sicilia and its incredible medieval historic centre. From here you will set off again towards the river, which you will arrive at before visiting the famous Alcantara Caves, dating back to approximately8000 years ago.
Places full of history and wonder, which our expert guides will tell you about in the best possible way, taking you to visit them one by one: among these, also Byzantine Cuba, a strong>early Christian chapel from the 7th century, among hazelnut grovesand the scent of Sicilian citrus fruits, up to our base of Linguaglossa, famous for the miracle of Sant'Egidio, which prevented the village from being swallowed up by the lava of Etna erupting in 1923.
To be able to drive the quad, you will need to have a B driving license, while to participate in the experience you will only need to be at least 6 years old.
We remind you to wear appropriate clothing for the area, therefore closed shoes, sunglasses and a bandana to protect yourself from the dust you will raise on board your polaris quad.
We also advise against the activity for pregnant women and those who suffer from back problems.
