We run our courses under the Irish Sailing Association Syllabus. We will take you to explore Kilkee Bay and its surroundings. You’ll have the supervision and guidance of a professional instructor who will go step by step, teaching you the power boating essentials. We will help you how to handle the powerboat correctly for everyday use and emergencies, go over safety water standards and more.
Our staff will focus on providing comprehensive knowledge, and seamanship skills, including launch and recovery of a powerboat, high and low-speed manoeuvres, confined manoeuvres, man overboard rescues, picking up a mooring, anchoring, coming alongside correctly, navigation, safety equipment and procedures, tides and water, rope work, and more. You will need one day of your busy week to complete your course.
It’s an ideal introduction for beginners! We run our courses all year round. You’ll receive a recognized certificate upon finishing your course. We guarantee a fun and safe environment!
