The programme for a couple’s tandem flight experience goes like this: we’ll confirm the flight location and meeting point in the days leading up to the flight. On the day, we’ll meet, travel to the launch site (which will involve some hill walking) and get set up. Both participants will receive a flight safety briefing and learn about how paragliding works. When the conditions allow, you’ll enjoy your paragliding flights.
Each flight will last around 20 minutes, depending on the wind, etc. Our team of expert pilots will be responsible for the flights, with the two participants as passengers (on separate flights). The minimum age to ride as a passenger is 8 years old, while the weight limit is 120 kilograms.
We use Long Mynd as a flight location. It is the ideal spot in the Shropshire Hills when the wind blows from the southwest. However, we may choose an alternative location in the West Country if the forecast is more suitable for paragliding on your booked day. Wherever we fly, we’ll record the flight on a Gopro and give you the video to keep as a souvenir.
