Paragliding initiation course 1 week, Castejón

If you want to get out of the routine and do something new, don't hesitate, our introductory paragliding course will be your best option.

We have prepared a 1 week long course in Castejón to get you started in this exciting sport.

The objective of the course is to acquire the elementary knowledge to fly:

• We will have 40 teaching hours. Divided into 8 hours a day from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• We will carry out 8-10 flights of between 300 and 1350 m. of altitude difference, of which 4 flights of more than 1000 m of altitude difference.
• Take off, fly, approach and land in calm atmosphere conditions.
• Basic knowledge of meteorology.

We have divided the course into 2 phases:

Theoretical:

• Basic notions of aerodynamics
• Basic notions of aerology
• Basic notions of meteorology
• Using the radio
• Takeoffs, approach and landing flight

Practice:

• Inflation and control practices of the paraglider on flat or slight slope terrain.
• Takeoff and landing practices.
• High altitude flights (from 300 to 1350 m altitude)

We will carry out the course the first 3 weeks of each month. You have the possibility of taking the course divided into weekends, although pedagogically it is not recommended.

At all times a specialized monitor will be watching over you, we have a maximum of 10 students per monitor to ensure we give you the best teaching and to guarantee safety reasons.
