This is an paragliding introductory course, spread over 4 days, with 5 sessions, each one as interesting as the next. This is happening at Mont Bouquet in the village called Seynes, in the Gard department in Occitanie. A region rich in natural heritage. In particular, you will be able to discover the landscapes of the Gard scrubland from a fairly high altitude, as well as the small villages which border it, such as Uzès > and Lussan, small towns rich in history and charming castles.
As for your course, you will be accompanied during all your sessions by an experienced instructor and pilot, who will carry out a multitude of activities so that you can put your learning into practice through great flights /strong>where you will have the controls. It generally begins on Monday morning and ends on Friday evening, if weather conditions permit.
The first days require a fairly developed physical condition. It is during these that you become familiar with the aircraft, focusing on piloting and how to take off. You need to run a lot and have endurance. You will start by making small jumps, which get bigger and bigger until you are totally comfortable with the whole operation of the paraglider and you are ready to do the grand larceny. In addition, all the equipment will be assigned to you, namely, a safety helmet, the sail, the VHF radio and the harness.
However, it must be taken into account that the weather conditions can be an essential criterion for the smooth running of the activity. It is also necessary to provide aircraft liability insurance which can be requested from theFédération Française de Vol Libre. In addition, this course is not suitable for people under 12 years old.

This internship takes place in the village of Seynes, at Mont Bouquet, located in the department of Gard in Occitanie . It is a territory rich in natural resources. Thus, you will be able to observe the magnificent panoramas of the Garrigue scrubland from above, but also the small border sites including Uzès and Lussan , places full of charm and history.
On a physical level, the first days are the most trying. During these days, you learn how to use the device. You will therefore often have to exert yourself and show resistance. Initially, you will make small jumps, which will become larger and larger to achieve total ease in the operation of the paraglider and be able to perform large flights ( 3 to 5).
However, it is important to take into account that weather conditions can completely change the process and dates of your training. You will also need to have aviation liability insurance which can be requested from the French Free Flight Federation.
