Half-day climbing in the Gorges du Gardon

Embark on an exciting adventure in the picturesque Gorges du Gardon with our half-day climbing session!

This session is perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in climbing in one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Gard. We will welcome you at the fixed meeting point, where our certified guide will give you an introduction to the climbing site, the safety rules to be observed and the course of the session.

We will distribute climbing equipment (harness, helmet) and help you equip yourself correctly. Then our instructor will guide you through a series of warm-up exercises to prepare your body for climbing. We will start with easy climbing routes to familiarize you with the basic techniques of rock climbing. You will learn how to place your feet and hands, how to use your equipment correctly, and how to climb safely.

Once you are comfortable with the basics, you will have the opportunity to practice your new skills on slightly more difficult routes, always under the careful supervision of our guide. At the end of the session, we will take a moment to debrief, share our impressions and answer your questions. After about four hours of activity, you will leave with unforgettable memories, a dose of adrenaline and maybe a new hobby!

A day of climbing in the Gorges du Gardon offers a real adventure combining sport, exploration and discovery of nature!

We meet at the meeting point, where you meet our professional guides. After a presentation of the day and safety instructions, we distribute the necessary equipment: harnesses, helmets.

The guides introduce you to climbing techniques and help you warm up to prevent injuries. You learn to use the equipment and master the basics of climbing. Let's go for the first climbing session! You put into practice the techniques learned earlier on routes adapted to your level. Take the time to eat and enjoy the majestic landscape that awaits you.

The afternoon is devoted to further exploration of the Gorges du Gardon. You will progress on more difficult routes, always under the watchful eye of our instructors. Back at the starting point, it's time for the debriefing. We come back to the highlights of the day and answer your questions.
