La Carbonera is a natural paradise surrounded by mangroves, petenes and the Yucatecan savanna, which makes it home to a great diversity of flora species. >and fauna, on your Stand Up Paddle tour you will be able to observe birds, fish, reptiles and mammals.
The adventure begins from the Puerto de Abrigo de Chuburná, in a boat we will arrive at La Carbonera where we will begin our tour on paddle boards heading to a beautiful petén. We will navigate through a channel of crystal clear waters where you can explore its mangroves until we reach the sweet Dzul-Ha waterhole to swim, rest and contemplate some of its inhabitants such as herons, flamingos strong> or pelicans.
If you have not practiced SUP before, there is no problem, since our instructors will be happy to share with you their best techniques for using the board and paddle and being able to sail whether sitting or standing. It is a fun and exciting experience.
We will return to the boat to go to a virgin beach and enjoy its calm, crystal-clear waters where you can also swim or eat a delicious ceviche with an ice-cold beer.
The appointment will be at our center located in Yucalpetén, please consult rates in case you need transportation from the meeting point to the starting point of the tour. The tour includes fruit and water to refresh you between activities. In addition, you will have the option to choose between kayak and SUP board.
